The Youth Directory SA is an online resource compiled by YACSA of information about

Please use the keyword search or the index on the right hand side of the screen to search for details but please also be advised that some of the information may be out of date. There are two reasons for this. YACSA is in the process of revamping its website and the new website will not present, nor be able to present, the information in the same way. The second is that some of the content is sourced from the old Community Information Strategies Australia (CISA) database which is no longer being updated in a form that YACSA can use on its website. The previous Infosearch resource is now called SACommunity - Connecting Up Australia and is now a very comprehensive searchable website with a huge range of community information.

In this process YACSA is attempting to service and resource its members without duplicating the information management which is being undertaken by SACommunity - Connecting Up Australia. For the present YACSA will try and keep its information on YACs, YDOs and Youth Workers Networks up to date. This may be fed into the SACommunity - Connecting Up Australia site at a later date, but if you have more up to date information about the contact details in these categories please email YACSA with it.

YACSA Resources

Over many years, YACSA has developed a library of resources about and for young people and the youth sector. These resources include annual reports, DVDs, CDs, videos, cassettes, research reports, studies, statistical profiles, books, CD-ROMs, articles, policy statements etc. Most resources are Australian, although international resources are also represented.

An agreement has been made between YACSA and Tabor Adelaide Library to incorporate YACSA's library collection into the Tabor library collection. YACSA staff and members will have free access to the Tabor Adelaide library collection upon receipt of a library card which expires on February 28 each year. Email library@adelaide.tabor.edu.au or phone 8373 8759 for an application form. Once the application has been approved a library card and borrowing information will be sent to the applicant.
