Membership Development Group (MDG)
What is it? The MDG are responsible for the ongoing
development of projects and initiatives to promote YACSA to young people around
SA, as well as nurture the existing young members of the organisation through
events and projects.
When do they meet?
Once a month.
Who can join? Any YACSA member under 25.
How to join Telephone or send an email to
YACSA to discuss joining. No selection criteria apply, but
numbers are limited.
Advocacy team - NEW
What is it? The Advocacy team plan initiatives that help
young people have their voices heard by YACSA. They give young people
opportunities to speak out on issues and interests affecting them.
When do they meet?

Generate - NEW
What is it? A monthly newsletter that goes to all YACSA
young members and other young people around SA. Generate is distributed both as
an e-zine online and quarterly as a hard copy. The Generate team manage all
aspects of the zine including graphics, content and distribution.
When do they meet? Once or twice a month depending on need. ** Join now- newly formed

writing to Andrew at YACSA.

Book Review Team
What is it? This team writes reviews of books, CD’s
magazines and articles which are in the YACSA Library on a monthly basis to be
published in the YACSAround newsletter.
When do they meet? No Meetings required.
Who can join? Any YACSA member.
How to join; Simply contact
YACSA
to express your interest.
Peer-peer info sharing
What is it? Individuals are trained in who YACSA is and
what YACSA do in order to talk to other groups of young people to promote the
organisation and talk about our role at events, stalls, or to small groups.
When do they meet? No meetings required. Invitations to
events are often during business hours or on weekends.
Who can join? Any YACSA member under 25.

YACSA to express your interest.
