Mind Matters
This is an Australian mental health promotion program for secondary schools.

Mind Your Mind
Mind Your Mind is managed and sponsored by The Youth Discovery Program, the youth outreach arm of the London Mental Health Crisis Service. This program was initiated in 2001 to respond to the needs of youth between the ages of 16 – 24 for crisis management and support. Includes personal stories, coping tools, information and e-cards.

Reach Out!
Reach Out! offers an anonymous and stigma free way for young people to get help, explore issues and discover how other young people have got through difficult times.

SANE
website offers support the half a million Australian teenagers affected by mental illness in their family and centres on the stories of four teenagers, told through online diary entries, who have a family member with a mental illness. The website also provides factsheets and podcasts about mental illness and treatment as well as an online helpline for teenagers to ask their own questions or seek support.

Kids Help Line
This site offers counselling services and some excellent information and resources on issues affecting Australian young people.

National Youth Suicide Prevention Strategy
The National Youth Suicide Prevention Strategy was an initiative of the Commonwealth Government implemented by the Mental Health Branch of the Department of Health and Aged Care from 1995 to 1999. Reports, publications and information from the Strategy are available here.

Reporting Suicide and Mental Illness
This is an online guide, primarily for journalists, exploring the sensitivities of reporting on suicide and mental health issues. There are some good resources here.

Australian Government STI (sexually transmitted infections) site
The increase in STIs in young people is so concerning that the Australian Government has developed a new National STI Prevention Program: Sexual Health Campaign to raise young people’s awareness about the risks of infection and to generate a sense of personal responsibility to help prevent the spread of STIs. Queensland Sexual Health and Hepatitis C Website for Young People
This website has been designed specifically for young people, in particular those of secondary school age. The website is intended as a resource with information that you can use for your studies as well as to help you make healthy choices that will affect your everyday life experiences.

Scarleteen
This is an American site for young people offering "sex education for the real world".

Sex, Etc
An American website created by young people for young people about sex, relationships, HIV/AIDS, violence and other issues.

Sextxt
This sexual health text messaging service has extended its service offering in an effort to educate teens on the importance of safer sex and address the growing sexually transmitted infection (STI) and HIV/AIDS epidemic in Australia. The website is designed specifically for young people.

SHine SA
SHine SA is a sexual and reproductive health service working in partnership with many different agencies and communities in South Australia.  There's also information about SHine's sexual health and relationships education program, known as SHARE, here.

Teen Relationships
This is an American information site for young people about maintaining healthy, respectful, non-violent relationships.
