State Election 2010 - Pizza and Politics

Pizza and Politics 2010 Logo

On 11 March 2010 YACSA, in conjunction with South Australian Youth Lobby (SAYL) and United Nations Youth Association (UNYA), invited representatives of South Australian political parties to present their party's policies in relation to young people and then to field questions from the floor.

Around 45 people, mostly young members, listened to Tom Koutsantonis, Michelle Lensink, Tammy Jennings, Robert Brokenshire and David Winderlich outline their party's positions on youth related issues. Lively debate was generated by questions from the audience and the evening was a great success.

Special guest speaker was Caroline Hunter, Guest Scholar, School of Law, Flinders University and Senior Lecturer in Housing Law, Sheffield Hallam University, UK.

This event was completely sold out, and featured in a piece on ABC TV's Stateline that night.
