Youth Sector
YACSA was set up by the youth sector in 1980 to represent youth affairs issues and interests. The key areas of work of the sector development function of YACSA are:
- the facilitation of coordination and cooperation in the youth affairs sector
- provision of information, advice, referral and professional development
- providing tools and advocacy on Best Practice
- supporting the development and maintenance of youth worker networks (currently 24 networks which are location and issues based)
