The YACSA Summit

member engagement

WHAT IS THE SUMMIT?

The Summit is our largest formal member enagement procedure. Basically, all of our members come together once a year to unpack their key concerns and ideas. YACSA takes that information to guide our advocacy over the next 12 months, and creates a plan for our members.

It’s the primary mechanism for our members to drive out work.

2018 YACSA SUMMIT

The 2018 YACSA Summit saw our members come together to identify current issues and trends to ensure that our work accurately represents the thoughts, opinions and experiences of young people and the sector that supports them.

The information generated at the Summit will be presented to the membership as a report and will be used to guide the team’s work throughout the year. We’ll also deliver the report to relevant Parliamentarians as a snapshot of current issues and what’s needed to address them. We’ll ask the Minister for Human Services and Shadow Minister to respond to the report and will share it with you.
