our governance

YACSA is governed by a volunteer Board of Management who are the ultimate authority for our successful operation. Our Board is responsible for YACSA’s strategic direction, as well as our legal and financial requirements.

  • YACSA’s Board consists of at least six members, and at least two positions must be held by young people at any given time. The Board includes President, Vice President and Treasurer roles, with officer bearers are elected by the Board at their first meeting following the AGM. Members of the Board must be Individual or Young Members of YACSA and are elected by YACSA’s members at our Annual General Meetings.
