YACSA’s youth co-lab

youth co-lab is a space for young people aged 17–25 who are already making a difference in their community and want to take their impact further.

You might be involved in a youth advisory group, a leadership or student leadership program, or driving something independently on issues you care about. However you’re showing up, this is a place to connect with others doing the same.

YACSA’s youth co-lab brings together a network of passionate young people who are making a difference to connect, share experiences, and support one another – so you can stay energised and impactful in your work.

Due to the nature of these sessions, we’re launching them as in-person opportunities.

What it looks like

youth co-lab is intentionally flexible so that sessions can be driven by the young people in the room. It’s designed to respond to what matters most to you, with light touch coordination from YACSA to organise and shape sessions.

What to expect:

  • Bi-monthly sessions that are lightly facilitated, discussion-based, and shaped by the group.

  • Practical topics, focused on real challenges, opportunities, and building skills.

  • Space to share what you’re working on hear from others and build your network.

  • Optional informal catch-ups (on top of regular sessions) to strengthen relationships and keep up the momentum.

What you’ll gain:

  • A strong peer network of people doing similar work.

  • A deepened understanding of systems and how change happens.

Strengthened skills that support your influence and leadership.

  • Practical skills based on what you want to learn.

  • Opportunities to collaborate with others and amplify your impact.

We know young leaders already have the passion and vision to make a difference, and youth co-lab exists to back you.

Come along to connect with others, build your capability, and amplify the work you're already doing.
