A South Australian Youth Week showcase of young creatives, leaders and changemakers from across the state
Young Voices, Bright Futures
About Young Voices, Bright Futures
Young Voices, Bright Futures is a youth-led celebration of the creativity, leadership and positive impact of young people across South Australia.
As part of South Australian Youth Week 2026 this project featured:
a live Youth Showcase Night in Adelaide, and
an online storytelling series highlighting young leaders and changemakers from across the state.
The showcase was designed, curated and hosted by young people, with a youth curation group selecting participants and shaping how stories are shared.
Young Voices, Bright Futures is about celebrating the contributions young people are making every day.
This includes (but is not limited to):
leading or contributing to a local project, group or initiative
starting something new – a club, campaign or solution
creating in any form – music, writing, digital media, design or art
building skills, knowledge or public awareness in areas like science, technology, engineering or maths
standing up for something they believe in
supporting others – as a volunteer, young carer or peer leader
strengthening culture, identity or connection in their community
balancing study, work, family responsibilities and still finding ways to give back.
