The Youth Affairs Council of South Australia is pleased to host a practical webinar exploring The Australian Child and Youth Wellbeing Atlas and how it can be used to inform meaningful, evidence-based work in the youth sector. The Atlas is a free, online resource that maps data on children and young people aged 0 to 24 across all states and territories.
Structured around the Nest Wellbeing Framework, developed by ARACY, the Atlas brings together data across seven key domains of child and youth wellbeing. With more than 1,500 datasets mapped at small-area levels, it highlights disparities and identifies local priorities by pinpointing areas with a higher prevalence of key issues, such as declining school attendance, housing conditions, and youth unemployment.
In this session, Marketa Reeves (ACYWA Project Manager, University of Western Australia) will demonstrate how the Atlas can support planning and service design by equipping youth services with the granular evidence needed to drive meaningful change.
