  • Pridham Hall, Adelaide University (map)

We’re bringing youth co-lab to the Democracy Innovation Festival!

Join us for an interactive session exploring the many pathways to contribute to democracy as a young person – led by you.

The session will include:

  • a panel discussion with guests who have navigated different pathways to contribute to change, inside and outside of traditional political spaces.

  • a workshop exploring your ideas on how systems can better include and represent young people.

  • opportunities to hear from existing programs, groups or organisations focused on helping young people get informed about or contribute to democratic processes.

🗓️ Date: Monday 17 August
🕑 Time: 2 – 6 pm
📍 Location: Pridham Hall, Adelaide University

If you have any questions about the session, or youth co-lab, you can get in contact with our Senior Project Officer, Doug via email at doug@yacsa.com.au

What is youth co-lab?

youth co-lab is a space for young people aged 17–25 who are already making a difference in their community and want to take their impact further.

You might be involved in a youth advisory group, a leadership or student leadership program, or driving something independently on issues you care about. However you’re showing up, this is a place to connect with others doing the same.

YACSA’s youth co-lab brings together a network of passionate young people who are making a difference to connect, share experiences, and support one another – so you can stay energised and impactful in your work.

It’s not a fixed group, so you’re welcome to come along for every session, or just sign up when the topic feels like a good fit, it’s all about whatever works best for you.

youth co-lab sessions are hosted in person, but if sign up to the mailing list if you’re living in a regional area to help us gauge interest for more in the future!

youth co-lab: for young people already making moves.
