SA Health: State Public Health Plan – November 2025

Young people aged 12–25 years, while a broad age group, are experiencing a period of their development where many lifelong health issues are formed. Targeted efforts specifically for this cohort are needed and must take into consideration the transitional experiences of young people. Successful public health efforts targeting young people include multilevel approaches across various channels to influence change at an individual, organisational and societal level in a sustainable way.
